Brooklyn Flea

Shopping is a very popular thing to do in NYC. Guests at New York City hotels may envision days spent browsing racks of designer goods or visiting the unique boutiques that dot certain neighborhoods. What many may not picture is spending the day at a flea market, but the Brooklyn Flea is a unique sight to see.

This New York attraction is an open-air market where more than 250 vendors sell antiques, vintage clothing, bicycles, furniture, and just about anything else you can imagine. This popular New York attraction has earned the attention of several publications and has been named to the “Best Of” lists for markets in the United States. Travel + Leisure and Country Living are two of the magazines that herald Brooklyn Flea as a not-to-be-missed attraction.

Along with the typical flea market finds, such as vintage toys or hard-to-find collectibles, visitors to the Brooklyn Flea may also find handmade jewelry, unique artwork, repurposed furniture, and other treasures. It might take you all day to explore all of the offerings, but you can stop by one of the food stands to “fuel the search” and enjoy a snack between browsing.

Spend a day treasure hunting at this New York attraction during your next stay at our New York City hotel. Brooklyn Flea opened for the year in April, and the last day for the 2014 season will be November 23rd.
