Central Park Conservancy Film Festival

New York City has been the setting and inspiration for countless classic movies; in many cases, the City has played as central a role as films' lead actors. So what better place to celebrate the world's most iconic filmmaking location than its most iconic park?

Join us at the 2014 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival Aug. 18 through Aug. 22 to celebrate "Scenes From Our City" and filmmaking in NYC:

Aug. 18: Big (PG)
Aug. 19: The Royal Tenenbaums (R)
Aug. 20: The Way We Were (PG)
Aug. 21: Ghostbusters (PG)
Aug. 22:  Rear Window (PG)

Located on the landscape between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive
Gates open at 6:30 pm, movies begin at 8:00 pm

Films will screen rain or shine. A DJ will perform from 6:30 – 8:00pm. The Film Festival is free.
All films are open captioned. Bring a picnic and a blanket.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy the films, the following are not permitted:
