Midsummer Party

The 2013 Midsummer Party was one of the biggest events in the Hamptons. The 2014 event in New York promises to be equally spectacular. Attendees will enter a beautiful art museum, transformed by music and live performances.

The party will pay homage to two of the Parrish Art Museum’s contributors: Inga Maren Otto and Katharina Otto-Bernstein. Dinner, catered by Olivier Cheng Catering and Events, will be more than just a meal. It will be served in a dramatic and memorable fashion that will be talked about long after the event ends. Richard Move and MoveOpolis will perform, and attendees will dance the night away to Coleman Music. It’s a night of food, fun, dancing, art, and music. What a fabulous combination!

The Parrish Art Museum moved into its brand new home in November of 2012. The Museum, which was founded in 1898, now includes more than 12,000 feet of exhibition space. Special events are held at the new space throughout the year, including weddings and other private parties.

Those planning to attend could easily stay at a NY hotel like the Quin and then make the drive to the Hamptons for the Midsummer Party. Art lovers in particular will appreciate the Quin hotel, which sits at the intersection of art, music, and fashion.

The Midsummer Party is one of many special events hosted by the Parrish Museum each year. Tickets for this NY thing to do start at $1,500. For groups of 10 or more, additional tickets, which include dinner, drinks, and dancing, are available for $200 each.
