Rami ZAITOUN, a personal stylist with BG, encourages you to make bolder choices. He works throughout Goodman’s Men’s Store, but you can find him in the Brioni boutique on the Second Floor.
What makes you a great personal stylist?
The key is listening to the client, letting them maintain who they are while elevating their style, tweaking it just enough.
Why should a customer come to you?
I can show them how to maximize their wardrobe, how many ways they can wear just one jacket, two shirts and two pairs of pants, for example.
How do you encourage clients to make bolder choices?
It can take some coaxing, but I find that if I can help the customer see what I see, it can turn a lightbulb on in their mind.
What are you looking forward to for fall?
Fall is great for the tweeds, plaids, heavier fabrics, scarves and boots, as well as the outerwear and layering—the new Brioni collection has some fantastic looks for layering.
What is one item every man should have?
One favorite is a three-piece suit. It’s an iconic look that’s more versatile than people realize, you can wear it as a two-piece, then add the vest to dress it up a bit.
